About Dawasetu

The bridge between medical stores and their wholesalers.

Dawasetu helps medical stores stop losing money to expired medicine, and helps wholesalers stop running their business on phone calls. Orders, stock and expiry live in one app, and batch and expiry travel with every bill — so nobody types them twice.

  • Only licensed businesses
  • Set up with you, in person
  • Built in Kanpur
Where we fit

Dawasetu in 30 seconds

Medicine travels from the company to the patient through three or four businesses. We connect the links in the middle — where most of the phone calls, typing and expiry losses happen.

  1. CompanyMakes the medicine
  2. DistributorC&F / stockist
  3. WholesalerSupplies local shops
  4. Medical storeSells at the counter
  5. PatientBuys with a prescription
Dawasetu connects these three
Orders go up the chain — in one tap
Bills come down with batch and expiry — no typing

Our story

It started with one question at a medicine counter

  1. The questionAt a family medicine business in Uttar Pradesh: why do we find out a medicine has expired only after it has?
  2. ListeningWe sat with wholesalers and store owners. The same three problems came up every time: expiry found late, everything typed by hand, orders on phone calls.
  3. Building with themEvery screen was shaped by what we heard at the counter — big buttons, Hindi first, works on slow internet.
  4. Pilot, 2026 · In progressStarting with wholesalers and their shops in Kanpur and Auraiya, set up in person.

A note from the founder

I grew up around my family's medicine business in Uttar Pradesh. I have watched good stock go to waste because no one caught the expiry date in time, and seen evenings disappear into typing bills by hand.

Independent medical stores and wholesalers keep medicine moving to every town, yet they work with the least support. Dawasetu exists to change that — to give them the tools large chains take for granted, in their own language and at a price that makes sense for their business.

We are building it alongside the people who will use it, one counter at a time.
